Prodigy

Prodigy is a learning maths game where you fight monsters by taking math questions 
and if you use a spell on the monster you level up.
And go on quests and explore.

Kiwi Can


Group A went Kiwi Can today and we played two games.
We played the first game we had to try hit the cone with the ball and if you did you got a point.
The second game we played was a ball game you had to try get ten points by touching the ground.
Kiwi Can was fun.

Last week we went on a Scavenger Hunt and tried to find hints to write a recount.
We had to run outside to try find all the hints, the first thing we did was get into groups of three

And tried to find all the hints. We were the second group to find all the hints’ after we found all of the hints we had to stretch. When we finished stretching we all had to grab our netbooks and write about what we did.

Kiwi Can


Today in Kiwi Can we had two new teachers Mrs. Peddle and Mr. Latu
We learnt our new catch phrase and challenges to take part. Our catch phrase was Kiwi Can says step up you're game challenges we face we will not fear.

Raz Kids

Today I read a book on Raz Kids about 
Coral Reefs. These things are made out of polyps.
They are mostly pink sea animals live in Coral Reefs to be protected,
This book was very nice and fun to read.

Summarising


LI: To make connections, identify main ideas, summarise, evaluate and synthesise
facts through learning conversations. This week for reading we talked about the suffrage of women
having to vote. We had to write down twenty words for this summarising slide.

Maths Planning

LI: To create a piece of art using Reflection Rotation and Translation. 
Today in maths we had to find a simple Maori design and put it in this document. 
So Mr. Ogilvie could print them out and give them to us so we could put them in our maths book in our tray.

Today I did my 5 time tables on Tables Conga.
If you haven't heard of this game you get to collect to times tables in the correct oder 
and you can't touch the Conga Virus.

Table's Conga

Today I played a game called Table's Conga. 
If you do not know what this game is it is basically a maths game you have 
to complete by touching the time tables in oder without touching the virus.

Maori Language Week


This week we were doing Maori Language Week.
We had to do five slides of Maori I only did four but it was still fun. 

Suffrage POV

conversations. This week for reading we all had to write a suffrage POV for how woman could vote for the elections.

Today our class had to comment on TPS blogs I chose Lovey's one
Her blog was really nice.

DLO

Today in writing we had to make a DLO and blog it, this is what we have been doing 
in term 3 in week 3 and 4.

Prodigy

Today I played a game called Prodigy. This is a maths game 
Where you have to solve math questions to level up,
you find monsters to battle and win.

Haiku Poem

Today for Inquiry I did a Haiku Poem.
My poem was about the beach.
What is a Haiku Poem? It is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku 
Poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables
and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.

Tongan Language Week


Today we learnt about Tongan Language Week. What we had to do is have a buddy
And make a slide about Tongan Language Week. I did the animals and greetings the others did
Counting, And Colours. It was very fun and interesting to do.
